About the Artist

Dr. Katherine Poehlmann is the author of the recently published book: Rheumatoid Arthritis: The Infection Connection {Targeting and Treating the Cause of Chronic Illness}. She lectures on a variety of health topics nationally and internationally. Profits from her books and lectures are donated to infection research. Katherine’s website, www.RA-Infection-Connection, tells more about her book and offers free health articles.

Her jewelry designs provide a creative outlet for her boundless energy. She enjoys shopping estate sales, auctions, eBay, and gem shows for components. Some accent beads and pendants come from faraway places, souvenirs of her travels worldwide.

Katherine is a member of the Torrance Craftsman’s Guild and exhibits her necklace/earring sets at craft shows in the Southern California area.

Her right brain (creative) talents also include stand-up comedy. She has entertained church groups, writers’ groups, club holiday parties, and has performed at the Palos Verdes Playhouse and at the Hollywood Improv.
